I've heard of hair colouring, hair cut, nails, facials, those little things the brides do/need before the big day. Lacey, two months!

I really didn't have anything huge.  I went and bought glow necklaces and bracelets for the kids for the reception at the dollar store.  I also bought some more candle holders/candles and things like that just to have in case I needed to fill some space on a table or needed an extra.  I got those at the dollar store also.   Things like nails and stuff I already knew a head of time I needed.

My friend told me that at her last fitting for her dress she had lost weight and they had to pull the dress in again so she had to pay extra for that (since they had to put a rush on it to have the dress ready for her wedding).  Also, she said all of a sudden there were things she never thought she wanted (like uplites) that last minute she decided she couldn't live without.

I'm curious if that was only my friend or if other married girls had the same issues come up.

There have been so many unexpected little expenses Lacey~ from things I want (second pair of shoes for reception, prettier things to hold my favors, lights in my centerpieces etc.) and plenty of things that I needed (new toiletries for the big day and HM, new outfit for family get togethers before, dry cleaning, bathroom basket stuff, frames for memorial photos, wedding day perfume, sexy underthings etc.)

and just about everything I planned for myself was more than I expected
    tanning
    mani/pedi
    hair color
fake nails because all mine broke
    massage/spa
    HM clothes
    etc

Not to mention the things that popped up from my venue and vendors - venue needs flowers from the florist for passing trays ($), venue intended to close bar and breakdown tables while party still in process - had to pay extra to keep it from happening ($$).  Family member was supposed to "Gift" us the ceremony musicians they couldnt ($$) - I had to purchase a BM dress ($) - we decided to have a rehearsal after all, ($ to officiant for coming on friday) etc.

I can go on and on.... nothing that I didnt really expect.  It just all adds up really fast.  And with so many people here from out of town and ready to party, we have dinners and happy hours everyday from here to the wedding which could end up costing us some too.  Your best bet is to make sure you have plenty of cushion and hope you planned everything well enough in advance that you dont have to make rush purchases.  I suggest keeping a good sized cushion in your account so you dont have to worry.
