FI and I are not big into fish selections, do you think it would be dumb to have chicken and a beef or steak selection only?

What type of lunch/dinner are you doing? sit down or buffet?

i hate seafood, and FI doesn't necessarily care about it. so i wouldn't care if we had it or not, however i'm not going to be eating most of the food. it's up to you, but other people like seafood.... so idk. that's up to you and FI. but i would probably have a no meat option? unless you know there's zero vegetarians.

we're doing a pasta bar, with a couple different kinds of pasta and a few different sauces, some type of bread. something easy to feed a lot of people, and relatively cheap. and we don't have to worry about vegatarians or whatever. just the easiest for us.

I love seafood, but FI doesn't. We're undecided. We know there will def. be a chicken selection, but haven't made up our minds about beef/meat or seafood yet.

No it's not dumb. Its totally fine.

We are having a sit down and offering fish and beef but we like fish and so do our famillies. But chicken is probably more appealing to people than fish so I think it's fine!

Not dumb... We don't eat fish either but we're offering a fish selection. We're doing a sit down because it came out less expensive. But we're also getting tableside service so people can make their meal choice AT the wedding and not months before. We're offering chicken and fish.

Thanks ladies! Thanks for the reminder of vegs too. lol I do have one friend who is and doesn't eat fish. Although, we have the option of either sit down or buffet and its the same, I was thinking of adding an italian side table that has different kinds of pasta. So that could take care of them. It seems with the buffet I would get more types of food then the sit down. I know there will def. be chicken but I guess I can see what FI and our parents decide and think.

i think chicken and beef is quite common, if that's what you like, go for it.

We're having chicken or tilapia. It's going to be sitdown. The food was great so people should be happy.

I think it is fine. We are doing a buffet with chicken, beef and pasta. FI hates fish and I am not a big fan either. I don't think there are many people that don't like chicken or beef.
