Wagners or Diamond Event Center?

Hello, has anyone been to a wedding or had their wedding at either Wagners in Westlake or Diamond Event Center in Brunswick that can give me thoughts on how they were?

I saw horrible reviews about Diamond Event Center online before I booked my venue... Google and see if you find them too.

My fiance and I attended Wagners for a reception for a wedding he was in. I've never seen a grown man so sick. He literally was green from food poisoning. A number of guests drinkers and non drinkers reported being extremely ill with such symptoms. Have you considered anywhere else?

Yes, we are looking at Diamond Event Center as well.  Brennan's is our other pick, I have been there for multiple events over the years as it's in the neighborhood I grew up in.  Just looking at other options to see what is going to be the nicest place with the best price for us.

Have you looked at Ridge Manor in Brooklyn? That's where I'm going and I think it's much nicer than Brennans. Soooooo much is included in the price that many others don't.

My friend who works at a banquet facility just let me know that Wagner's was recently sold and they are not sure if it will remain a banquet facility or not, so they are out!

Both are good.  The food is a little better at Diamond, but the Venue is a little bit prettier at Wagners.  Think about travel time from your ceremony site.  Will it be easier for your guests to drive to one vs. the other?
