Marriage License Question

Dumbest question ever: do both of us need to be present to get our license? I'm assuming yes.

What do we need to bring with us? Should we make an appointment (can you?)?

We're going today. At our courthouse we can't make an appt. We filled out this thing online and we have to take the receipt and our licenses when we go today. It basically asks your name and socials and if you've ever been married. Pretty easy stuff. HTH

Yes, you both have to be present. You can make an appointment if you want but make sure if its required or not. Like Nikki stated, you can fill out a preliminary form online and then go to the courthouse. It makes the process faster. All you need to bring is a photo id and that's it.

Do I print out the completed form or submit it online?

I completed mine online and just took my printed receipt. It was very quick. The lady even took pictures of us lol.

Don't forget to bring your licenses/passport and social security card.

Hi Faith!!! It's really easy. Just print the form off online, fill it out and go to the courthouse with FI. You will need your drivers license and payment. It took about 45 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon.
