Hair Extensions

Has anyone had them?  Is anyone getting them for their wedding?

Looking for reviews--pros/cons!

TIA!

Hope everyone is having a great day...it won't let me respond to posts for some reason. Frown

I've never had them but I've seen examples: some were very well done. Some were dead animals brooding in someone's head.

Just be careful because they're very ... hit or miss, you know?

And yeah, the knot's acting up, I had to reply to Jaime's post ike 3 times.

I have really thin fine hair. I bought the clip in extensions from a kiosk at the galleria and love them!!!!  they don't damage my hair and I can put them in whenever I want them.
they were a bit expensive but I am  loving them!

I've tried on the clip ins... those are pretty good. I've also been asking around at some salons about the regular extensions that stay in for a few months... and they're really expensive. Most of them START at $900.

I used them for my B Pics and my E Pics and they came out great and looked very natural. I bought mine at Sallys for approx. $100 Human Hair clip on's. They last all day- so they're great for pics or a one time event. Let me know if you have questions...

I wear extensions but we African American's call it Weave. I can recommend a ton of people to give you weave, not sure if you use the same method of application as us. I used weave for my epics, I wear a weave on a daily basis, I get a new weave every two weeks which cost me about 80.00 for application and another 50.00 for hair. Smile

I just recently got them. I found a hair stylist who uses the "Short2Long" product/ method instead of the glue. It cost me about $500 and they last for about 6 months. About every other month you have to go in and have them moved up and is about $200. The hair is human hair so it won't knot or get damaged like synthetic hair will. Pictures are in my blog if you are interested in seeing them.

Thanks ladies.  I am still on the fence, I guess I will see how much more my hair grows before the big day.

    Kaila--you crack me up.

I know that if I do it I will go with the fusion method which is supposed to be the best as far as not damaging your hair and lasting the longest.  I think my biggest fear is just hating the long hair...lol.

I haven't used them, but I probably will for the wedding depending on how long my hair is by the wedding. I really like short hair, but I want to be able to do something nice with it for the wedding. However, my mommy is a hair dresser, so thankfully, I never pay to do things with my hair, so I'm thankful that I'll get to experiment with this before the wedding.

I purchased clip on extensions from wigs.com i think i spent about $80 but I used a promo code. The hair blends in great except I can only do a down style. I was also considering extensions for my wedding but the ones that last longer...
