Florida-South Florida

Venue help

Right now my top choice is the BOA Towers. I have seen photos and think that for the vision I have, it would absolutely work. Any BOA brides on the board who can give me an idea of how much it is? More or less the minimum to book? If you prefer to email me the info, that is fine also. soroabridetobe@gmail.com.

Also, other venues would help. I want to stay in South Florida. I don't care if it is near water or not. I really really don't want a ballroom feel. More of an open space. I also want the party to run until late so time restrictions would be an issue. So far it looks like we are at 150 guests of which 95% are locals so near shops or entertainment is not really needed. I don't really have a budget in mind, but I do know I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. Not sure what other information would help?

Thanks in advance girls!

I know of few knotties have had a hard time getting in touch with the planner at the towers. But there have been a few knotties weddings in the past and soon to be coming up!

Like Lynette said, there have been/are a bunch of knotties with weddings at the towers.

As far as other venues, a ridiculous amount of money to you, may not be ridiculous to me, so I recommend you do hash out a budget. Regardless, here are a few venues to look at:

    The Shane Center
Deering Estates (But I think they have time restrictions)
    The Epic
    The Delano
    The Fountainbleau
    The Miami Sequarium
    Jungle Island

I would make a budget for your self. Because otherwise you might end up spending a ridicolous amount of money. The average is $20,000 for 100 people. But people spend less and also spend more. If you dont want a ballroom feel and you have mostly locals so you don't have to worry about accomidations I would look at non hotel venues. Such as Morikami Flagler Vizcaya good luck and happy planning
