DOC worth it for a small wedding?

Hi girls! Do you think a day of coordinator or partial planning is worth it for a small wedding? Only about 35-45 guests and our bridal party is very small, 1 MOH for me and 1 groosman and BM for my fiance. What do you think?

It all depends where you are going to have the wedding & if they are going to set everything up for you. Also how many vendors do you have arriving at venue. You want to make sure that there is someone there on your behalf!!!

I'm having a small wedding of about the same amt. of guests and I went with a DOC for partial planning.  She's been super helpful with ideas and we're all coming from Jersey, so for us it's making things go a lot smoother than it would without one.

Absolutely. Regardless of the size of your wedding you don't want to worry about vendors or anything else. DOCs save you money and guarantee peace of mind!

With all things that can go wrong, and do go wrong; it's nice not hearing about it until after you get back from your honeymoon.

Real life example:
While I was getting ready, and everything was being delivered, someone placed the cake topper on my cake that wasn't the baker and it didn't sit right. It toppled over and fell down the cake completely destroying one side of the cake! My DoC took charge and found my cake baker and *luckily* she had extra icing to touch it up. She was able to stop that news from getting to me and stressing over something out of my control. She also helped my florist throw together a boutonniere to replace one that fell out of the transport box and proceeded to get run over.

SO! I say go for it!

I highly reccomend Chic and sleek events. I had hired them for complete wedding planning though they also do DOC. She was absolutely awesome to work with and saved me money and made sure that both my DH & I were ok during the entire day. Wether it was getting us drinks or making sure we were still all in 1 piece.
