Wedding night ohlala! Boca Raton

Help! I thought we would stay at the Boca Resort but many of the online review say the rooms in the Cloister and Bungalows are old/outdated and not worth the price. Is this true? Has anyone stayed there? Can you recommend any other hotels near by? Thanks Knottiest! My all time favorite hotel is the W in Fort Laud. But it may not be work the drive since our wedding ends at mid niht?! love how the showers are in the middle of the room and The bath tubs are huge and romantic!

    hmmm.....I'll be staying there the night off. Not sure how the rooms look yet. Honestly, we care about the honeymoon room, this one we got because the hotel grounds are beautiful and we need them for firts looks pics. It is also a whole half mile from the venue so the whole point is to drink and....drive as little as possible that night.
    If your venue is in Boca, I don't see the point of spending the night in FLL....

    try for rooms in the tower? or at the beach club maybe? i used to work there and the rooms are pretty, depending on the rooms. but staying at the beach club might be nice if you get a room over looking the ocean and it's super close to the main resort, just over the intercoastal! have fun!!!!!!!!

    my wedding planner has advised me that despite the fact that we will all be excited for the night of... we're going to be exhausted. really and truthfully. (although I argue and say we will be the different ones! LOL) I'd stay somewhere near the location of your wedding the night of, and worry about the honeymoon ;) you'll be having plenty of "ohlala" there!!!

    I agree with Plzwitze, but if you are really worried. you can visit the hotel and ask to see the rooms. I did that before booking. Fi and I went to 4 different locations before we decided on which one we wanted to stay in and what room we were interested.

    I'm getting married at the Boca Resort in Nov and I was told by the catering manager that the Cloister rooms are going to be redone in June! I'm not sure when your wedding is - but i'm excited that my guests will have the least $$ rooms in the resort done brand new in time for our event.
