Hi girls... I've been a horrible knottie
I've been lurking here & there, but haven't had a chance to post because work is i-n-s-a-n-e, and that's an understatement! But luckily, things seem to be looking like they're getting under control (knock on wood...) and I am finishing school this Sunday. Then I will officially be one semester away from being an MBA grad! YESSSSSSSSS!
Quick responses to posts that caught my eye:
-Twinkle: you have to do what's right for you & your FI!!!! A house is more important than a wedding. Wait until it's the right time for you & FI. If it's a year away, then so be it... I am sure your wedding will be picture-perfect & you will find your dream home.
-Alissa: SOOOOOOO happy you are OK! I wrote to you on fb but wanted to say hi here too
-Amy: Obsessed with your wedding pics, Jordyn, her shoes at your wedding, everything. It was beautiful!!! Can't wait to see it on TV.
-Courtney: I saw on fb you wanted a rec to a restaurant in NYC; here you go! La Mela in Little Italy, Carmine's in Times Square, & Tao for dinner. I heard Asia de Cuba is very good, but have never been so can't really recommend. If you're there for brunch, go to Pastis in Soho. I promise you will remember me as you are eating those delicious eggs

Ok, so... since I've been away, I have had the following checks for the wedding:
-reception site (Sofitel)
-DJ (Ubi)
And my engagement party (which is the day of the miami
G2G... so sad!!!!!!!!) is pretty much DONE! I am super happy with the way everything is coming out; my mom & godmother have outdone themselves and I couldn't be happier.
I am also about 99.9999% positive I found my photographer this evening! Those of you who are my fb friends may have seen my post about some initial photographer sticker shock, but i think I found my perfect match with Alina M. I loved her, her pics, her style, her personality... everything! I am definitely going to book with her next week. I can't imagine anyone else capturing my day as perfectly as her!
