Hi ladies! I'm back as a Mrs! My wedding was on April 14th and was so awesome and I could not be happier with the way everything went.
Sorry these are up so late but here are my reviews:
Venue: Old Davie School
B-
I loved this venue. It called to me when I found it. It was perfect in every way possible. They had a beautiful green lawn that I could marry on, and an awesome indoor room to have my reception. They are getting a B- because I was not able to marry on the lawn. Due to the construction that they started on the lawn a month before my wedding, it was nothing but a mound of dirt! I am not giving them a lower grade because their customer service was one of the best that I have ever experienced and they did everything possible to keep me happy. They ended up giving me the other building on their property to use for the ceremony free of cost, which turned out beautifully. However, I do believe the next bride that gets married there is going to be so happy with the changes they are making to the lawn. They are adding a huge wedding gazebo. The lawn being under construction was my only issue with this place, though some may think thats a fairly large issue. I did at first, but I got over it.

I can not say how great this woman is. I love her work, she is extremely fast at getting your pics to you and she is extremely affordable! She is newer to the industry but her work is amazing. I loved that I almost never saw her after the formals, but she was definitely there, I have the pics she took to prove it and they were awesome!
DJ - Eddie B & Co
A++++
Oh my gosh! I could not have made a better decision. I had Marc Evans as my DJ and he rocked it!! He had everyone on the dance floor all night long. He kept asking me all night if I was okay and if I needed anything. The music was perfect. Marc Evans is the best!!!
Food - TooJays
B
I had TooJays cater my wedding. Food was good, not the greatest - in my opinion. But it was hot and there was sooo much of it and the service was awesome! Though I barely ate (I think that's the norm for most brides), I saw others going up for seconds. They are getting a B, because the tast of the food was just good.
Cake - Publix
A+
I'm not a huge cake person, but I will eat me some Publix cake. We had a huge vanilla and chocolate cake. It tasted great and it was very affordable. No complaints on the cake at all.
Flowers - Silver Sleigh
B+
Debbie was super nice and was able to accomadate my budget. The flowers were beautiful, but I'm giving her a B+ because she is kind of a little out there, kind of scatter brained and it wasn't really easy to work with her because of it. But she did a great job.
Alcohol - BJ's Wholesale
A+
I bought all my beer and wine here. VERY affordable.
Dress - Rashawn Rose Bridal
B
Loved, loved, loved my dress. They were very helpful and super nice. I am giving them a B because it took forever to get my dress and everytime that I called they would lie to me and tell me it had just been shipped. I swear it was just shipped every week. However if you have plenty of time to wait - they do have some beautiful dresses.
Dress Alterations - Alterations by Reina
A+
Okay I thought I looked good in my dress before but Reina made that dress fit me like the best fitted glove ever! lol. I had alot of detailing on my dress and I was worred about her altering it and that being an issue, but it wasn't at all. She did a great job. I went to her 2 weeks before my wedding, and she was able to accomodate me with such short notice. Ladies, if you need your dress altered, go see Reina!
Flower Girl Dress - David's Bridal
A+
Found the perfect dress for my daughter to wear. It was extremely affordable, beautiful, and the shipping was super quick.
I think I have everyone covered. Everything else I did myself. It was a tremendous amount of work, and I never want to do it again. lol. Atleast for myself. I was so stressed up to the day of my wedding, but when it came it went by like a dream. Too good to be true.

I can't thank you ladies enough for all your help during my wedding planning. I don't know what I would have done without the help from other knotties, and I am so serious. There was times that I wanted to throw in the towel and say "screw it all, let's go elope", but because of all of you I stuck it out and I have no regrets. Okay well maybe I do regret not keeping my day of coordinator. If you don't have one, GET ONE! xoxoxoxoxo!
