Help with color combo

Hi ladies I'm having a hard time picking my bridesmaid color and reception/ceremony colors. I know I want my husband to be to where black pants and white jacket with black bow tie so I figure the groomens can wear black suit but just don't know what colr to pair it with. So far i like three colors which are sage green, champange/gold and lavender if you ladies can help me pair those colors together with something I will greatly appreciate it. I do want a accent color that will pop. Thanks i advance for the advice/opinions.

I think it depends a lot where you're doing and the overall theme your going for. So???

Where are you having the ceremony and reception? Are the areas decorated already with certain colors? And where are you having pictures taken? Think about what colors are going to go well with the location.

The theme I'm going for is fairy tale and the month I'm thinking to get marry is jan or march. The idea i had for the reception was romantic with lights dimmed a little with a pop color in my decor and for the guest to be amazed when they walk in the room. for center piece I want mazenta trees on every other table or if I can't get the trees i want candles and on the other table tall vase flowers.

Hey :) I found this inspiration board a while ago. It includes the almost all the colors you mentioned which are green and champange/gold. I hope it helps!!!

Oh and gold chavari chairs might look best with this combo ;)

With what you said I am thinking the champagne color will work best. I love green its one of my colors, but I feel its more of a day thing. Lavender is too soft too for what you want I think. Maybe purple or purple/blue to give you that midnight summers dream affect. You know purple is the color of magic. But from what you described, you want a twinkle effect and champagne can do that. Hope this helped

Sorry - this turned out a bit long. lol

My colors are chocolate, sage, ivory and rose... I know it sounds like alot, but really it's not. I'm not pairing them with gold, instead I'm doing Silver/almost pewter.

My theme is similar to what you are describing... woodsy, magical, whimsical, romantic, soft and airy. I'm adding vintage and chic as well, just to not be too "fairy tale" like. I have a few pictures of the centerpieces I like in my bio that include branches, twigs and lots of candles and lights.

I can send you some pictures that I have gathered over the year of things I feel go very nicely with that theme.

As for colors, I agree with PP. Lavander alone is way too soft and cute. A plum color or other shade of deep purple with maybe a blue or a sage might give you more of that "Midsummer Night's Dream" - "Fairy tale" feel, without being childish. You can add lavander to a plum and green color scheme very nicely, too, if you really like it.  Since you really like champgane, this can be added nicely too.

The guys can wear either the plum, the sage or blue with their black suits.

Here are some boards in those color combos.

    HTH...    :-)

Thank you so much ladies I will go over the ideas you shared with me with my fiance and hopefully we come up with a color. I think my problem is I want everything to look perfect and I'm afraid of picking something and at the end it doesn't turn out the way I want. I'm so stressing out already because I can't come up with the colors and I have yet to find a venue in south florida that will go nice with the chavari chairs

Have you checked out the Shane Center? It's like a white canvas, you can do pretty much anything you want there.

I like all the recommendations... if you are doing a white and black theme and want a pop color i would do the kelly green..i just love how it looks together but i love the plum color with green accents too... I know the women's club of coconut grove has wood floors i believe...i know its not carpet and it has a really nice feel to it..
