Hi All,

Regarding vendors for the ceremony, who will you be using. The church does have an organist, but I wanted to know what others are doing? Also what has been the price range regarding your musical requests. I would love to have strings as well, but am not sure how much it will cost.

We are having a DJ. I kind of wish I looked into a live band before I booked the DJ, I just assumed they would be more expensive.

Live bands are expensive.  If you are looking for one person playing a violin or a string trio, check our Master Musicians.  The prices are reasonable, but I guess the price is relative to your budget.  I am paying $450 for a single flamenco acoustic guitarist for 2 hours.

I'm using our church organist and was considering to hire another musician until last night. FI and I met the organist and I handed him a list of songs I wanted to played on the organ. When he started playing them for us, I got chills because the organ in our church is very powerful and it sounded so beautiful. I became teary eyed when he played my entrance song.

Sorry for going off topic...back to you, lol. Hiring another musician can be a bit expensive and if you get quotes that are not favorable then check out a local university and contact their music department to see if they have any promising students who wouldn't mind earning a few extra bucks.
