After waiting an additional 17 days for my dress - we paid for rush service because we needed the dress to get here in 14 weeks so that alterations can have enough time to make changes. Besides the fact that they couldn't find my dress, I get to the fitting and they tell me the sweetheart neckline I wanted could not be done.

is the face I placed. Now the alterations lady said she can TRY to make a pinch to make the dress look somewhat sweetheart. After the fact she is really trying to make it work. Had I known that from the beginning I would have had the opportunity to choose whether I wanted to stick with this dress or chose another one. The part that pushed me over the edge was the assistant manager was not empathetic at all - telling me to alter my vision since this is the best they can do. I would have rather them give me clear expectations when I was buying the dress so that we wouldn't have this issue.
PSA - Ladies when you are trying on your dress and you want to make alterations - ask to see if the alterations department is there and have them come to CONFIRM the changes you'd like physically can be made.
Thanks for letting me vent.
