Affordable Photographer/DJ?

We're getting married December 7th, 2013. Our budget is $10,000 and $6,000 is going into the ceremony/reception venue & food.

Anyone know of an affordable photographer and an affordable DJ?

We have $4,000 to work with photography, DJ, decorations and flowers I'm starting to feel like this is gonna be impossible to sort out... Help

Don't fret, I have the same budget. And it can be done. Thankfully some of the girls on the board suggested both Thumbtack.com and wedding.com. I found my photographer Angela Winsor Photography and for a full day it was under 1,500. And for my DJ I am using Rocking Roy Mobile DJ. His cocktail and reception price is awesome and includes 12 uplighting. Please note I got that price using thumbtack.com. His regular price is 1200 for the cocktail and reception.

I just met with Rockin Roy tonight.....I found him through thumbtack and I will probably be giving him my deposit this week! Woohoo! Great price and a really nice guy! He provides up lights and will do the ceremony and reception with no limit on time. I also found a photographer on thumbtack that I will be meeting next month called Ville Focus Photography. They offer packages under $1000 and actually include 2 photographers. I have also been in contact with Lauren Louise Photography and she is also very affordable. I started following both of them (plus some others) on Facebook and I get to see whenever they post their current work. I recommend doing this, so you can get an idea of their styles and see if you like their work! Good luck! I'm working with a $12000 budget and $8000 is going to venue/food, so I'm in the same boat!
