Still no luck with venue search :(

Still haven't found the one! I have spent countless hours on the internet searching and we have been to many places, but no luck! We really love the Grove Isle, but it's so expensive! If you guys have any more suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Looking to spend $100-150(max) pp

Hotel (or atleast very near hotels for OOT guests)

Near the water (this seems to be getting me all the expensive places,we may have to cross this off the list  )

Dade County locations

Ceremony site (preferably outdoor)

Have you checked the Double Tree Ocean Point Resort in NMB or the Westin Colonnade?

I had similiar requirements. We eventually crossed the water part off the list. We are getting at The Biltmore and paying $102/pp. However, we had to have the wedding on a Sunday in order to get that price. Also, non-peak season. Not sure what your date is. That makes a huge difference. A venue is less likely to negotiate during peak season, because they will probably get someone to pay the price they want. Non-peak season gives you a little more power.

I was going to chime in with Doubletree Ocean Point. My fiance and I are getting married there - ceremony and cocktail overlooking ocean. How many people are you having?  Some places in Dade that I looked at that are definitely in that range with outdoor ceremonies are:  South Beach Marriott, Hilton Bentley, Epic Hotel, Miami Botanical Garden (need to bring in everything and not on water) and the Doubletree Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay.  I believe the Palms starts in that range too.  Depends on how much you want for food/drinks and also what your style is too.  Don't give up on looking.  It took me 4 months of looking weekly at venues, and I ended up with what I thought I didn't want, but ended up loving it.

About 100 people we are expecting. Thanks for the recommendations! I've already considered some of them, but I am defitnetly looking into the others. Hadn't looked at the Double tree ocean pointe and that looks like a potential. Thanks!

I have been looking for around the same thing. Would you at all be ok with Broward Country? I have some recomendations for both. Also everyone is negotiable. If you have it on a Friday or Sunday it will always be cheaper. Good Luck.

One that is definitely within that price range (the only issue is proximity to hotels) is Red Fish Grill.  Is down south by Fairchild gardens.  You get to rent out the entire restaurant and they have a small beach area where you can do the ceremony.
