The toothpaste really does work!!

Ok, so recently someone had posted something about the cleaning of the rings and someone suggested to clean it with toothpaste.

So this past weekend i was in the pool, Jacuzzi, and Steam room which took a toll on my ring and was looking very dull.......so i decided to try cleaning my ring with toothpaste and WALA! I now have a sparkling ring that looks like the first day I got it!

Just thought I'd share.

I agree with you Patty. My mom showed me once and I clean ALL my jelwery with toothpaste.

Kaila, I used Crest. Its not white its actually green with white. So i would say any kind.

Its AWESOME! My diamond is so brilliant!!! lol!

wow thats great....i know that guy at kays told me once that if u just soke it inwindex its really more or less what they put in that machine that they stick it in...ive never done it though...

That was me .....That is a really OLD school way of cleaning jewels, my grandma used to do it, it really really works. Don't use GEL toothpaste, use the regular kind for better results

And don't use the Arm & Hammer kind with baking soda... it can scratch the gold...

No stop using toothpaste!!!

I was using toothpaste for months and when I went to Mayor's to buy bands the jeweler told me that puts grim on your ring and can damage it and weaken your prongs !

Use Windex instead!
