i know this is a silly question, but i was going to do a french mani and pedi for the e-pix and wedding, and yesterday my friend told me that that is old fashion and that people dont do french anymore...is this true?!?!?!?

what color ar eyou all painting ur nails for the e-pics and the wedding?!?

I plan on either doing a french manicure or just clear polish on my fingernails. French for sure on my toes.

ill do a french or hot pink(hmmm) on my toes and clear on my nails. I dont wear polish on my fingers and i dont want to just cuz but i plan like two months before to start getting them taken care of so i dont have crap nails for the wedding

I read in Peggy Post that french detracts from the ring and a pale pink or nude makes it stand out more.

I'm going to have some sort of light pink for my toes and then I saw this really awesome platinum color by Essie that I think I'm going to get for my nails.  I don't really like long nails so I keep them short so I'm a fan of solid colors

I have seen a lot more girls doing more colors on their nails like pale pink, nude and white lately instead of french. I will be doing french on my toes. My natural nails looks funny to me in french so I will most likely be doing a pale pink or nude for both epics and wedding.

I plan to do french with either a pink or whitish base...i LOVE FRENCH MANICURES lol..and i think they make ur hands and feet look super cute and taken care off...white polish alone looks boring

I will polish my nails with my favorite nail polish NATURAL COTTON from Essie....love the pale pink and it looks classy and chic

i'm doing french on my hands and a Essie Marshamallow and Adore-A-Ball (layered) on my toes.

If you don' twant to do french, any pale pink is so nice and classy and elegant!

I am not doing french just because I personally don't care for it that much.  I do love an american though- which is just lighter, not so white on the tips and looks more natural.  I will either do that or wear Barefoot in Barecelona from OPI.

I'm doing french for e-pics and wedding. My nails aren't that long, but I LOVE how they look with a french. They somehow look longer to me. lol

thanx everyone, i just did my nails for the e pics and i did a very soft pink almost white, and it look like french from far so it looks good!!

thanx for all the input, but from them i see my friend is half wrong! lol

I dont think its old fashion what so ever. A lot of people still do french and I will be doing french on bot my toes and nails. But its up to you on what your looking for.
