SO i am having a hard time figuring out wether or not to wear a chain with my dress.. My FI's mom gave me this really goegeous diamond necklace that actually has the same sort of design that is on my dress.. I thought that if i wore it, I would wear simple earrings.... studs or small dangling ones.. What is everyone doing?
I am torn because some of my Bridesmaids say yes they like it and some don't.
I am torn!

If it's the Alfred Angelo sweetheart strapless neckline and mermaid style that you show in your profile, I think you can get away with the necklace and dangle earrings.  How complicated is the necklace?

LOL..duh.. here you go.. this is how it looks.. Sorry dress is super wrinkled and not even laced up, had to hold it with my hand..lol..

The chain will sit higher up towards my neck...
Thoughts?

That necklace is stunning (and ohmygodthatdress!!!) BUT, to be perfectly honest, in my opinion, I think you should let the dress stand on its own and not deflect attention with a necklace.  Just some nice dangling earrings and nothing on your neck.  I feel like there would be too much going on if you wear a necklace.

After seeing the necklace, I changed my mind.  I think the dangling earrings would be fine on its own.  The dress has a lot of embroidery on it, so it should be the focus.

I did stud earrings and no chain, but only because my dress was V-neck off the shoulder with beading.  If  I were wearing a strapless I wouldve done dangly earrings for sure.

I rented my cuff bracelet on renttherunway.com and I got chandelier earrings on bella-tiara.com; (Originally I was going to rent the earrings also but decided not to because the ones on renttherunway that I was interested in just seemed a bit too big for me). I got my earrings at Dillards on sale. And my bracelet I bought one at the old Radisson Mart, it broke, so I'm reworking it, adding pearls and that's it. Nothing else.

I haven't decided on jewelry yet.... But Janet thank you so much for bella-tiara.com... I was looking for a beautiful hair comb for my half-up hair do and havent found anything I was crazy about but I feel like a kid in the candy store with that site :-D

My BFF rented jewelry from adorn.com, and I think she was really happy with it.  The pieces she had were gorgeous, and she paid about $300 to wear $12,000 worth of diamond jewelry.  The worst part was sending it back!
