Can not decide on a veil or headpiece..

Also, can't decide on hair up or down..I have long dark thick hair.. too many tough decisions lol

The weather in May is pretty unpredictable around here.  I would say you could decide on a hairstyle that could be down or pulled off your neck.

One such hairstyle would be like a half-up/down do.  If it is really hot, you could always have it gathered to one side of your neck the day of, without compromising veil placement.  If it's cool enough, you could just wear it in the half-up/down style.

As for veils, I think it is mostly about personal preference, and how much of the back of the dress you want to be able to see.

I ended up going with a fingertip length in a single tier layer that wasn't very full because I want people and photos to be able to see the intricate beading and lace on the back/train of my dress during the ceremony.
