I spent $550 on my dress, $60 on the veil, $100 on underthings, $25 on my hair comb. The dress was on sale, and then the shop manager gave us 10% off everything.

I got mine for $400 on clearance. Luckily it fit almost perfectly with just a few small alterations needed!

Help! Where are you guys getting your for sale dresses from? I'm in Chicago, but my wedding is back home in MIami. I am visiting in August and ideally would like to spend about $500.00 for my dress. But willing to go up to $1000 (eek) for the dress. Within an hour of the miami area is fine.

I forgot to do the breakdown:

1000 for the dress (on sale, designer was closing her business on Miracle Mile)
120 veil
35 underthings (it was ripped in one of the layers but I got that layer replaced for $20!)
145 for the hair piece made of crystals

My dress is priced at $2500..its a David Tutera by Faviana dress.
Veil was $1500.00 and with alterations and additions to the dress....total was $5K...but my aunt is paying for it...as a gift.  What an amazing gift at that.  I'm sure David Tutera gave her a discount.

I paid $1106 for my original dress. And because the store made an error, they honored the price for a dress that was just over $2k.

The veil I want is $329... but we're also trying to get the store to throw that in. I haven't bought anything else yet.
