Beware of Massage Envy South Miami location (LONG)
Went on saturday am with FI for a couples massage on their $39 first time trial promotion. sounds lovely right? well, it became more like massage nightmare! the guy that was going to do my massage asked me to take my neckless off. I did right in front of him and i put it in a pocket of my purse right in front of me. I laid down in the massage table facing the floor for about 25 min. the first 10 min i was already pissed bc this guy was barely touching me, he just kept pressing one point in my back with ONE hand. So when I had enough of that I told him that I couldnt feel anything so to just go on and give me a back rub. This must have been the worst massage I ever had (and I have had a lot of them in spas here and abroad) and it only laste 35 minutes!! so when hes done I got dressed quickly and told FI that I was going totalk to somebody about the time issue (it was supposed to be 50 min) and that i was not paying for that crappy service. So I did and I was so fired up that I forgot to get my neckless from my purse and put it back on right there. This is a white gold neckless with a diamond cross on it that costs about $800, a gift from my mom.
Anyway, I spoke to the front desk that tried to sell me a membership so i was like no thank you i am really dissapointed with the massage and it wasnt for the right time. So they call the manager bla, bla..they ended up complementing the massage ( I had to pay for their mandatory 20% tip) and giving me a gift card to come back next saturday. Ok, I didnt remember that i wasnt wearing my neckless until sunday am when im getting dress..guess what? the neckless is not in my purse. omg, i had to wait till this am to call this place. the person that answered told me they would call me back after they spoke to the manager and questioned the therapists in the room. this was at 10 am. At 8 pm I called back bc nobody has called me and they just said nobody has turned in a neckless yet. I am like of course not, I put in my purse! I get transferred to the same manager that saw me that day and she has an attitude and she says that no neckless have been found. i am like look I took it off in front of the guy, he saw exacly wehre I put it and I am facing down for half an hour, have you talked to him? shes like "no, i havent" if they havent turned in is bc is not in the room. And Im like, of course is not I just told you i put it in my purse!! omg im so upset! this is areally expensive jewrly and i have fooled like an idiot. I cant beleive i didnt check right there! I filed a report at the police tonight. They even said that certainly it was removed from the purse while i was receiving the massage but it would be hard to prove and that the manager should have questioned the therapists.
anyway..i hope the police goes there and scare this guy and the stupid manager.
I even places a neckless in the pocket again and lef the zipper open. I flipped the purse in the gound, rolled back and forth..nothing came out of the purse..just to prove it didnt fall out, IT WAS taken by these people..dont ever go to this place!! This is the last thing I need right now.

This is horrible! I'm sorry this happened to you. You should def. report them to the BBB also.
BTW the manager gave me a complementary massage card for next saturday and i even made an appointment (this is before I learned my neckless was missing) yeah they can wait for me, I will not go back to that horrible place!!
