Unique Stone PLace Cards/Escort Cards Fort Myers FL

My wedding has a natural/organic theme and I am trying to Go Green with everything. I found these awesome stone place cards from a lady on Etsy. They are priced the same as most paper cards I was looking at. I love this idea but not sure if I want to use them as place cards on the table....or have them as escort cards with my guests name on the front and the table number on the back.

I thought if i use them as place cards they could double as a favor...I could have her put a unique word, quote, or phrase on the back....or maybe just our names and wedding date...what do you think?

I found this on etsy at www.stonesbysarah.etsy.com and found out her business is out of Fort Myers....which is only 30 miles from me!

I think it's a cute idea except I wouldn't put your names and wedding dates on it.  If it's just your guest's name they can use it later as a paperweight.

I like this idea... however i do have one question.. if they only put the first name on the stone what if u have 2 ppl with the same name? Also i would put the table number on the back and have it as escort cards or you will have ppl walking around every single table looking for thier name...this would only work if its a Reealy small wedding..:)

I think it's a really cute idea. And if you put your guests name on one side, you can put yours & Fi's name on the back with the wedding date, and they'll still be able to use it in the future as a decoration or paperweight.

I just did something very similar a few months ago. All black stones with names on front, and table numbers on back. Bride and Groom's stone was a beige color. They were placed in a dark "rustic" looking tray filled with sand and the rocks were dropped in. It looked very cool (shabby chic) and was not expensive to do. I'll try to post a picture for you -
