HOLY SHIIIIIIZZZ!!

I really can not believe it's my turn. I joined the knot in Fall 2008 and my life will never be the same because of it. There are so many amazing things that came out of being a member of this board. The friendships and commradery found here are unreal and so special. There are, of course, also down sides. If I had not joined The Knot I would probably be saving a few thousand dollars, not have upligting or Gil Sosa or chargers or freaking drink flags, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

You have been here for my vents and AW's and everything in between and I can not thank you girls enough for that.

Jaime: My first friend on the knot :). Thank you for being the kind hearted, supportive person that you are. You have touched my life more than I am able to tell you. Thank you for being you and for always accepting me. And CONGRATS ON YOUR HOUSE!

Jill: Thank you for helping my work day go by quicker! I've really enjoyed getting to know you and Mrs. Tiara (ha!) and being able to bitch and complain when I needed to and vice versa. Thank you for your humor and sarcasm, always :).

Christina: You are a trip! Thank you for always being honest and straight forward and telling it like it is. You're the best negotiator I've ever met, and your baller wedding is going to be amazing because of your skills.

To Joanne, my fellow NC bride who is only 8 days after me...thank you for hanging out with me this week! I'm so happy we got to do wedding fun together and talk about our crazy families. Your day is going to be beautiful and I am so happy for you and Justin!

To Alissa, Amy, Tess, Jen, Stephanie, Tiffany, Andra, Elena and of course COURTNEY! Thanks being you! This board is so amazing because of you girls and your big hearts!

I'm not saying goodbye, because I have NO WHERER ELSE TO GO, so I'll be an 80 year old grandma hanging out on The Knot message boards. It will definitely be different, but I will be around long enough to see you girls get married and be here for you as you've been here for me.

I'll leave you with one piece of advice...DO WHAT MAKES YOU AND YOUR FIANCE HAPPY! Do not worry about your parents, in-laws, grandparents, friends or anyone else. This isn't about them and if they don't understand that, well shame on them. You will seriously go bonkers trying to please everyone and you will end up with a wedding that is not for you, but for someone else. So, put your big girl panties on, learn to say NO and make your wedding the best damn day that it can be for YOU, your FIANCE and no one else.

I love you all and I can't wait to see your shining faces you at Cheesecake.

AH!!!!! I'm getting married on Sunday!

    Sara!  I almost cried reading this---great advice lady, great advice.  You are one helluva bride!  Go get your married on and enjoy every single minute of your day.   Thank you for all your words of encouragement and your beautiful smiling face.  

    Enjoy your last few days and party like a rockstar on Sunday!

    I am so incredibly happy and excited for you. I cannot wait to see all your wedding details come together! Your wedding is going to be amazing! You are going to rock your wedding on Sunday. I am seriously, so super, duper excited for you. You deserve to have the most incredible day ever, and it will be :)

    And lololol at being an 80 year old knottie. I'm glad to hear it though, because I def. need all your great advise, help, and support trying to plan my wedding. You've been the knottie that has reached out to me the most (I LOVE ALL OF YOU THOUGH) and I'm so thankful for all the great advise and help you've already given me.

    I dont know about the other knotties but everytime there is a wedding I spend that day thinking about them, like "I wonder if she walked down the aisle yet?" or "I wonder if they are dancing already?" I know I am a nerd! lol...either way I know I will be thinking of you Sunday...

    Sara, my honey. I can’t believe you’ll be on THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOO!!! TOOOO much! : )

     

    I’m so so excited for you. I want to be there so bad!  I won’t miss you b/c you won’t GO ANYWHERE.  I’ll miss you while you’re getting married, though. Enjoy your day so much and cry lots. Don’t hold back : )     You are having the most beautiful wedding ever!  Make that rehearsal dinner just as fun and keep an eye out for me.

     

    I can’t believe you’re up, my love!! This is YOU!!! Your time to shine, baby! I can’t WAIT to see!!!!!! I hope Justine gets there and posts the hell out of everything. You are so beautiful and your personality really shocks me. Amazing!!! : )

    freak i'm late..but we've been together the past 3 days :-)

    Sara, I feel like we can be friends for life. You are so funny and have this energy that people must feel when they're around you. Your flower trial rocked and I can't wait to hear that all your guests were crazy in love with them too. For their sake they better love everything or else they'll be cut, lol.

    You're going to be SOOOO beautiful! I wish you and Ben all the happiness in life for your marriage. All the blessings and love, life can bring. And I really hope life brings you two closer to justin and I in NC, lol.
