There are always going to be a few hiccups during a wedding and I completely understand that. My reviews are based on a 5 point system, 5 points being the highest. Hope this helps some of you ladies!

Hotel(this hotel is part of the Seagate Beach Club where the wedding was held)
When I first arrived everything seemed perfect. My boss actually was kind enough to buy my 2 nights for a Junior Suite as a wedding gift. Since he is a member the $500 a night room was $350 a night. Everything was fine this first night but on my wedding day it was a total wreck. First you think spending money on your Rehearsal Dinner, all your Out of town guests(25 nights at $200!!), and having your wedding at their Beach Club you would think you would get treated as a VIP.
The day of the wedding, I called at 9:45 for someone to clean my room, the cleaning department stated they would be there by 10:45 to clean. I went with my MOH to get massages and pedicures and arrived back at the hotel at 11:30. I came to my room and it was just as I left it(granted my nephews stayed in the room with me the night before so, it was a little messy). I called and asked if someone could come quickly since hair and makeup would be in my room at 12:30. They stated someone would be there asap, 15 minutes I'm still waiting... so I ran around my floor trying to find a cleaning lady and finally found someone, begging her to clean my room and haning her money, she said she would be there right after she cleaned the room she was working on. When she arrived she asked if I wanted the pull out couch placed out? I said "no, we need the couch put back so all my guests can sit". I got back to the room 15 minutes later only to find the pull out couch still out, the coffee table still slid by the door, the robes still on the coffee table. So, I had to scramble to clean it myself.. this is the last thing I want to do on my wedding day!!! After hair and makeup and all the woman getting ready in my room and room service it was a mess. Only for Mark and I to come back from our wedding to expect a clean room...IT WAS HOW WE LEFT IT FOR THE WEDDING!!! Room service everywhere, towels everywhere and watercups still where we left them. NO ONE CAME TO CLEAN THE ROOM ON OUR WEDDING NIGHT!! We called down to the front desk and all they could say was.... I'm sorry! The next day I was furious but, I didn't want to get upset. I find out they charged me for a full day for Mark getting ready. We were contracted at a half day rate, they were holding my accoung for $850 and they wouldn't do anything about the mess for our wedding night. So, they are lucky they are getting a 2 star and that is because the Bellman, the Valet and the Trolley driver were amazing.

If you ever want to book at the Beach Club I would recommend calling Cathy. Shes the manager at the Beach Club(not the Hotel) and is so easy going. She will try everything to make your day easier and less stressful. Some guests didn't like the Mahi, but we had other guests who loved it. Overall the location is wonderful and you can't beat having your wedding and reception on the beach.

Day of Coordinator
Love Love Love this woman. She is the most detailed person I know besides me. Everything I wanted was in the right place(I can be picky). She has gone above and beyond to help with this wedding. Without her I feel I would be lost on my wedding day and would be running around more than I would have wanted. All the vendors were there on time, all night she asked If I needed anything and her timeline was perfect and it flowed. She even had to deal with my drunk and overwhleming Aunt who was like a 12 yr old the whole night and managed to hold it together and be professional(I know I probably couldnt)

Nellie was great to work with and even managed to deal with my changing of flowers ideas twice. Her price is great and my communication with her was always good. I know some brides could not reach her, but I was always able to by email. Only issue I had, she didn't have all the things I wanted. I wanted teardrop vases on the Archway for the ceremony with a small flower placed inside and submered roses at the reception. Those two things were not there but on the contract. I didn't really notice them until the next day but, couldn't complain because the reception site was beautiful even without the roses.
Couture Cakes

Their prices for cupcakes with a top tier cake was great. When I found out the owner had left I panicked. I sent them a photo of what I wanted but, it didn't look like the photo. To me, it looked very sloppy and quickly done. The taste was good but, the presentation was lacking.

Grooms Cake

At first I had an issue with Johnson's cake. They spilled the beans to my husband twice. I understand it isn't their job to keep it a secret but, I emailed them many times telling them to shhhh on the cake.. we were there for a tasting of an additional cake that went along with my bridal dance. The first time they said you are here for the grooms cake and the second time they actually said what it was... needless to say, they felt bad and gave us a discount.
When we saw the cake it was BETTER than we expected. It was MASSIVE and the dirtbike helmet was EXACTLY what I wanted and more. They even put the small details in that we never would have thought. Only reason why they receive a 4 is because of the spilling of the beans.

From the engagement photos to the wedding photos I am blown away. We have two photographers for 8 hours. The best part is, they gave us teasers the next day!! They made us feel so comfortable even when my husband is camera shy he managed to laugh and they got their shots. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer to have for our wedding.

Kenny is amazing to work with. He was so great sometimes you didn't even realize he was there. I would highly recommend a videographer for you wedding because that day goes by so fast and you forget a lot about that day. With a videographer the moments are captured and we looked at our amazing wedding trailer and remembered the little details that went on at the wedding. I would highly recommend Kenny and his prices are great.

Bamboo Arway for Ceremony

They are a great company and Marc is really nice. Only to notice as I was walking down the aisle it was the wrong bamboo archway and color. It didn't bother me considering our ceremony was a whole 10 minutes, but it didn't look like bamboo.

Danielle is amazing! She created my invites exactly how I wanted them . She is quick and works with you if you have changes. Shes the sweetest person and goes above and beyond to make your invitations and programs exactly how you want them. Her prices are unbeatable for the work she does. I had to change my wedding date and she ordered the paper right away and got everything completed just as I needed to send them out.

Linens and chiavari chairs

WOW did this make my reception site look 10 times better! I ordered white pintuck linens and white Chiavari chairs and it made the room look exactly how in visioned it. The small touches of the linens and chairs is what made everything look complete. I have had guests compliment how they wanted the linen and chairs for their own home.
Vision DJ's

Vision DJ's works wonders. They are on point with their music and play every one we requested. They kept the guests on the dance floor and there was never a moment that guests weren't dancing. They even played the polka my mom wanted on the spur on the moment. The uplighting made the room glow and I highly recommed them as DJ's and for uplighting.
