Fans vs Water

I am having an outdoor ceremony for my wedding. It is in April so I am hoping it won't be to hot but because it is in Florida I want to keep my guests as cool as possible. What would you like to have better? Bottles of water or hand fands for each guest?

I think fans would look nicer for the ceremony. You can place one on each chair, or have little baskets filled with them so they can grab one if they like.

I second the fans. I bought a few fans from efavormart as well.. and ther're very handy to throw in your purse afterwards!

Water!!!  People always get thirsty outside in Florida.

Fans! If it's that hot out, you will have to deal with the logistics of keeping the water cold (ie, I wouldn't leave them out on chairs). Fans are prettier as well. Just a thought, but since water bottles are fairly inexpensive by themselves, is it possible to have a cooler available before the ceremony for the guests who would like to cool down?

We are doing both.  The fans are also our programs and water is provided in pitchers/containers.

I bought my fans for .99 each on efavormart....we are giving water bottles in the OOT bags...

I was planning on putting water in a cooler. In a beverage tub. I went to a wedding this summer and they had water and everyone seemed to love it. Plus you can buy 100 bottles of water for a lot less then fans.
