Bridal Shower

Is it right to expect the brides mother, sister, and bridesmaids to pay anything towards a shower they have had no input in on (date, style, place, etc?) and they are out of state and can't attend?

    I don't know... I mean the mother should want to help. But I've never had to contribute financially for a shower. Time and set up/clean up definitley... but that was cuz I was attending.

    I'm not expecting anything from my OOS guests/family/BM (2 of them) for my shower or parties...

    I dont think so, especially since they are not attending. I think IF they wanted to send you something it would be REALLY nice of them but I wouldnt ask for it.
