What should I expect to pay for uplighting? ( Ballpark)

    I've heard about $15 or $25 per light. We're getting 12 lights for our room and it is pretty average sized  (although one DJ we met with quoted us $75 per light and claimed his lights were far better than others.. lol :: wonders if they sang and danced as well::   )

    This is what I've seen: $10-15/light and depending on the space you could need 15-20 lights. HTH :)

    $300 for 12 lights, I think?  For an average-sized room?  My florist offers it.

    I got mine for $15.00 a light but mine were halogen lights not LEDs. LED lights are much more expensive, I got quotes from $25.00 to $75.00 a light for those.

    I just paid $700.00 for 35 LED Uplights and it includes the setting up and stuff. I'm still thinking about doing the monogram thing because it wasn't on special, I'm sure if I wait it out I'll get lucky!

    You girls are getting great deals. We are getting 16 led multicolor with a control board. They go with the music beat once the dancing starts.  I am getting them for 50 each for a total of $800.

    Where are u guys getting your lighting from? I've heard good things about Uplyte Event Lighting, but any other recs?

    JPatootie- I think many people get their lighting from their DJ company. But my planner highly recommends Uplyte but I don't know their costs

    Krysta6-thanks! FI saw uplytes at a bridal show we went to and loves the idea, so I've been starting my research on that! =)

    I got mine through Magical Plan-it Events, My lighting and my venue are about the only thing I have done.
