Coco Plum Coral Gables

Has anyone been to a wedding at Coco Plum Women's Club? Any info on food, details etc. would be helpful!

Yes as a matter of fact I was a maid of honor at a wedding there - it was actually very nice!  decorated the place looked beautiful.  The patio area is really big and she used it for cocktails and lounge area.  The food wasnt spectacular~ but I think they had a lot to chose from.  There is a stage in the ballroom and it would be perfect for a band.  My friend used the MC that came with the package and I thought it was cheezy but it suited her family and the group.  The MC actually brought out a trunk full of costume hats for the YMCA~ we were all drunk so it was fun.  I considered it for my own wedding as a matter of fact.

i almost considered it because it came with pretty much everything!!  and I loved how the inside looked with the wood beams. The reason I didn't go with them was because we still wanted a beachy vibe and the venue to house our ceremony and reception

I really like this place, and gave it a lot of onsideration, but at the end of the day, I'm not sold on the whole "package deal."

I'm getting married there next Feb.  I think its a great beautiful place!!!

also, The package includes everything, the food, cake, flowers, photographer, dj, and open bar...you cant beat that!!!

Rosie is great, she is the coordinator, and she is great with ideas.  Actually, they have been doind a LOT of remodeling to the place, it looks a lot better now than when I booked them last summer, so it will be BETTER by the time I get married!!!

I considered this place for my wedding but my date was not available. It is beautiful but it was kind of small for my event too. The price Rosie gave me was $2,400 for the 4-hr rental and $100/pp. Hope that helps.

I visited there and met with Rosie, too. FI and I didn't choose it in the end though, because we didn't know how we felt about the package idea. Also, we were nervous about the parking situation and how close the cocktail area was to South Miami traffic. Hope this helps!
