Hi Ladies,

My FMIL wants to have a bridal shower for me which is super sweet, especially since my mom and I are not speaking so she won't be having one for me.  

However, she has been asking me what theme I want and I have no idea!  Can you send some theme ideas my way--maybe showers you have been to before or would like to go to.

I have a color theme..brown, fushia & ivory. Very nice of your FMIL to throw you a bridal shower.

I am having a kitchen theme...I LOVE the baking and cooking so its very fitting for me :-)

My MOH im pretty sure is throwing me a wine/martini/recipe theme one. Which I love all three so Im super excited about it. I know there are colored themes, kitchen themes, princess themes, disney themes, just think of something you love and tell her and Im sure she will get the idea. A martini theme alone sounds like a good one too if you like martini's. GL

Since I am getting married in the sping, my friends are giving me a spring flowers themed shower. They are going to use fresh flowers for centerpieces, they are going to be giving away smaller orchid plants as prizes for the games, and they will be making "goody bags" with floral themed favors.

I had a mashed potato martini bar.  Think of something like this

It was set up buffet style.  We had mashed potato and mashed malanga.  There was shredded chicken, ground beef, and shrimp.  There were also various toppings and garnishes
