Anyone heard of Melani Gardens/Melani Mansion?

Hi all,

I am considering this venue in Homestead, FL (I am from Cincy so I am not able to visit before making a commitment to a venue). Has anyone heard of this place? I am finding no reviews online aside from 2 people the lady does business with (a caterer and a party planner). As far as I know the place opened in 2011 so maybe it is just bc it is new. It looks amazing, but I don't want to turn into one of those horror stories of people who got ripped off by a business that is not legit.

Your concern is perfectly understandable! I had a terrible experience with a venue vendor who had a villa and after telling us we would be able to use it for our wedding and not fear anything.....the dude lost the property!!!!

I am familiar with the venue because I have seen it on weddingwire.com before but the only reviews it has is from other vendors and not actual brides.

Btw, Homestead is pretty far especially if your guests will be staying somewhere in Miami.

Since you are not from here....what type of venue are you looking for?

I would suggest checking out Thallatta Estate in Pinecrest. It's a beautiful outdoor venue and it's right next to Biscayne Bay so you will have a beautiful view of the water. Also, it is very affordable. The only downside is that you have to bring in your vendors. However, many out of state brides have booked such venues for their weddings on our board. We can always offer vendor suggestions if you need them!
