Taco Bar

I am planning on having a taco bar at my wedding. Does anyone have a suggestion on a caterer that would possibly do this?

Re: Taco Bar

  • I'm sure a lot of caterers could do it. Luchita's caters. Is your wedding formal? People might not want to eat messy food in nice clothes.
  • My friend had a Taco Bar at her wedding and it was so cool.  Her caterer is listed below.  I was hoping to use her, but the venue I fell in love with only works with one caterer.  But give Karen a call.  Her food is fantastic.

OMG! I wanted to have a taco bar too, but my mom told me absolutely not and that she would turn me into David Tutera Wink Apparently the China Buffet I wanted to add to it was too much.

Thanks! I will definitly give her a try.

My mom is not too excited about it either. But she knows I love my mexican food and its not her wedding. I will comprimise with amother bar. My wedding is not going to be fancy. I'm all about casual.
  • In that case, can I come?  I love me some tacos :)

I've had catering from Luchita's and it was good, and a lot of people like El Jalapeno on W. 117th near Lakewood.  I would imagine just about every caterer could do it for you, it just depends on how "authentic" you want it.

BTW, now I want tacos for lunch.

I've called a few caterers and everyone said they could. Now its just a matter of $$. I haven't looked at Luchita's. How are their prices?
  • Luchita's prices are really good, when I catered a work event it was super cheap.  I'll see if I can dig out the order and look at the prices.

Also check out Si Senior at Kamm's or Cozumel on 21 near Independence, both have fantastic food and great pricing.  They are owned by the same family.

  • I recommend Karen King. I know her and she is a good lady and will do you right.
