Venue: Bamboo Gallery

I was just cleaning out my wallet and found a business card of one of the venues we looked at called The Bamboo Gallery.  It's not a widely known venue since I haven't seen them advertise.  They're located in Davie on Flamingo Road.  It's designed to look like the back of a resort hotel.  The venue would be better for a larger wedding since it is kind of spread out.  There are 2 tiki huts, various waterfalls and streams, a large area surrounded by palm trees that can be tented for dinner, and a few "beachy" areas for ceremonies.  It was a beautiful location but we didn't choose it since it wasn't the feel we were going for.  The only downside to it is the entrance since they currently have no parking.  Instead your guests would park in a church parking lot up the street and be bused in which is included on the rental fee.  I want to say it was somewhere around $3k to rent it for the night.  There are no restrictions on vendors other than the DJ.  You have to use theirs or they charge you a large fee.  I thought I would post this for anyone looking for potential venues.  Hope this helps someone!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review you did on our venue. We certainly pride ourselves as one of South Florida's most unique venue and we are so happy that your experience while visting us was a positive one. Just to give an update regarding use of outside Dj services- we do in fact allow outside Dj's based on Client preference without attracting an added charge- as you incorrectly stated otherwise in your review. We do continue to offer Shuttle services to the venue from our offsite parking (approximately 1500 yards away) to minimise congestion at the property. Congratulations on your nuptials! I hope we'll be considered for your next memorable event!
