I'm not having dress regret! Don't get me wrong I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dress but...

I ordered her in light ivory because
1. that is what I tried her on in and didn't even realize it was light ivory (looked like antique white to me)
2. All the bridal consultants told me it suits my fair skin complexion better

Before my search, I was convinced my dress would be white white...

I just hope I'm happy with her when she arrives in May! ahh

    White white isn't exactly flattering on some skin tones. Since no one else will be wearing white at the wedding (or I'll stab them with my shank, I swear), your dress won't look ivory per se (at least not a DARK shade of ivory), it'll look white, and you won't look washed out!

    ivory is beautiful.  i'm having the same issue with mine and keep asking my mom and sister "are you sure it's not too dark and yellow?" but i know ivory is beautiful and it will look awesome in the pics.  and i guess great JEN minds think alike because i thought the same thing - you will be the whitest dress and will amazing!

    I had the same thing happen. Like I literally almost bought a new dress b/c I had convinced myself that my dress was yellow or light brown and in all of my pics it looks perfect in natural light.

    By the end of my wedding I loved my dress so much I hated to take it off. you loved it for a reason and I promise you, trust it.

    Don't worry, it is probably best not to wear white white with fair skin.  I bought my dress in ivory/pearl because I am fair also.  It is not white, but it looks great on my skin and in pictures I have taken it looks awesome!  

    You will be very happy with it I am sure.

    Your dress is beautiful and so are you and you will look amazing. 

    I ordered my dress in (light) ivory and no one is even going to be able to tell, so definitely don't stress! I think we pretty much all go through this because it's such a HUGE purchase and part of our day, but don't stress :)

    ahhhhhhhh that dress is SO gorgeous -- and don't stress, I ordered mine in "cafe" (ivory) too!!! I'm fair and it looked so much better then bright white. it'll look amazing!!

    Gabi you dress is gorgeous!!! And I dont think it would have even looked right in white. Its so elegant and classic and ivory really plays that up.

    DO NOT have dress regret!! I have been there and its not a good feeling. Once you see her again and try her on you'll fall in love all over again! Promise!

    I think light ivory will be perfect! The lighting in the stores is awful and makes everything look weird - on your day it will be beautiful!!! I always thought I would wear white also - my dress is ivory and I love it!
