Here are my vendor reviews from my bridal shower. Hopefully it's helpful. Sorry it's so long! 
Venue: Miami Springs Country Club & DJ B
I would have given them an A but I had some issues. I had paid for an upgrade for
“name brand” and instead got house brand. Even though the price was the same since
he was giving me a deal on the upgrade. But at the end there was no deal. We asked specifically to have Dewars and Bacardi, which we did not get. Also I paid for coffee service and guests mentioned to me at the end of the night that they did not serve any coffee. When I approached the person in charged he simply told me if they don’t ask we due not serve them coffee. I was in shock. After writing to the owner an email he simply said he was sorry and that he will make it up to me on my next event. I really didn’t want any money back since basically I only lost on the money I paid for the coffee. The whole point was that it was on the contract. Everything in the venue was included food, DJ, bar service, linens, sash & covered chairs. I paid extra for the chargers, which was cheap to rent. But overall the service from the waiters were great, they also accommodated my nephews I had chosen them regular plate since they are 13 & 15 but they wanted chicken tenders like my other smaller nephews and the waiters changed their plate with no problem. The set up of the place was beautiful. It’s an affordable place and worth it. They also let me set up the night before. About the DJ not sure his company name he is hired within the venue. He played a little bit of everything and was great to work with. Very important the food. We had Cesar salad chicken Marsala, with vegetables and potatoes it was delicious. My entire guest loved their food.
Florist: Flowers By Landys A+
I met with Geraldo the owner and he is so sweet & nice to work with. I also worked with Alex his assistant. I had told them I wanted a square vase, hydrangeas & fuchsia roses as my centerpieces and small replicas on the sweetheart table. Also I asked for rose pedals for the cake table, sweet heart table & guestbook. WOW my centerpieces were beautiful. To my surprise he added orchids and purple baby breath to the centerpiece at no cost. What a great add on. They came out lovely. The only thing is I never saw the rose pedals. I really didn’t notice until the end of the night. One of my vendors mentioned that they saw the florist drop off the pedals. Not sure who’s to blame here. I believe the florist told me that I needed to have someone on my part spread them out. But no one from the venue took care of this and I never saw the bags of pedals. But these two guys are great to work with they give you ideas and are always available if you need to meet with them for any changes. Also they are very affordable compare to other vendors I went to.
Cake: Ana Paz A+ + + +
Everyone joked with me bcuz I literally went to 6 different cake tasting before I picked one. My favorite was Ana Paz. I am so glad I went with her. I met her at her main location in Doral. I showed her a picture of my cake idea and she gave me her ideas & input for my cake. I think my cake came out better then the picture I showed her. It was amazing!! She takes pride with her work. My cake consist of 3 tier flavors: vanilla run with vanilla filling, chocolate cake w/ chocolate filling & velvet cake with cream cheese filling. I was worried at first bcuz my bridal shower was on Valentine wknd and when I went the night before to drop off the flowers for the cake there were tons of cake that she had just finished doing. People always worry about so much volume of cakes. But it did not affect how my cake tasted at all. It was fresh and just delicious. Everyone commented about the cake on how beautiful it looked & how good it tasted. She also made a sugar butterfly to represent my mom on the cake. Also I didn’t think she was so pricey compare to the other vendors I had gone to. Defiantly will be making all my cakes from her. Another thing I rented the cake stand from her as well.
Candy Buffet & Cookies: I heart Sugar Sugar: A+ + + + + +
Lily was great to work with. I have seen her work before and always wanted to hire her for an event of mine. I had no clue about candy buffets. She told me her ideas about keeping the color scheme with the candy display. She basically did everything all I had to do was send her the candy I wanted and that’s it. She is very helpful and really takes time to help you out and to make sure everything comes out great. Lily is such a creative person. She also surprised me with rose pedals on my candy buffet. All my guests loved the candy buffet and it was the talk of the night. Cookies: she made for my MOH, FMIL & my grandmother cookies the replica of my cake. It looked just like my cake; it came out beautiful in a cute see thru box with cute pink ribbons wrapped around the box a card was attached with what I sent her for it to say. They loved the cookies. Defiantly would recommend her to anyone.
Purple Box Design A+ + + + + +
What can I say this girl is a lifesaver. Adie is great to work with she has so many ideas and very talented. She designed my monogram, menu’s, table names, seating chart & picture canvas. I am so glad I went with her. Everything looked just like my invitation the damask theme (brown, fuchsia, ivory & gold). I believe she is affordable and is worth every penny. My canvas was ordered and done less then a week. It came out beautiful & great quality. I tell you this was a stress reliever having someone take care of all of this for you. She kept in contact with me every other day. Defiantly would recommend her to anyone. She is just full of ideas!!
Make-up: MAC International Mall A + + +
Her name is Sylvia and I have been doing my make up with her for about 2 yrs now. You tell her exactly what you want and she does it. My face doesn’t come out looking cakey at all. She also does private make up for weddings and events.
Hair: Elegant Cuts A +
I always do my hair here. But my hair dresser does not due hair do’s so he recommended me to a woman by the name of Cielo every time I go I see her hair do’s and they come out beautiful. Let me tell you that my curls stayed all night and I have straight straight hair usually my curls last about an hour not her curls. They stayed curled all night. I loved my hair do.

I am so glad that my knotties referred me to this woman. She is absolutely great!! All my guests kept saying wow there’s about 100 people here and this photog is everywhere does not miss anything. Everywhere you looked she was there. I have only seen the pictures she has posted on fb which are just amazing I cannot wait to get my cd in the mail with all the other pictures!! Btw I’m stalking mailbox every day. She is affordable and really captures everything. She got there early to take pictures of all my favors & set up and stayed until the very end!!! All my friends have asked me about her and plan on contacting her for future events. She was really pleasant to work with and everyone loved her.
Hopefully I am not missing anyone. It was truly an amazing night for FI & I. I had great vendors assisting me thru the whole process. I would not change anything of this day. J
Can’t wait to see what St Thomas has in store for me!!
