Corbo's Bakery

I am thinking about  Cassita cake has anyoe used Corbos? does anyone have pictures I dont see any pictures on their website of wedding cakes :(

Re: Corbo's Bakery

  • We've gotten Cassada cakes from Corbo's.  My sicilian grandpa  loves Cassada, so for special visits we always get one.  Corbo's is good, but if your on the East side try Reider's Grocery in Concord off 90 and 44.  We think they're even better.  The last one we had from Corbo's was sort of dried out, but it could have just been that particular cake.  Either bakery has good looking cakes- very thick layers, and yummy light whipped frosting.  You could always go in and ask if they have pictures?

I'm not sure that Corbo's does wedding cakes?  I feel like I have heard before they do not.  Colozza's in Parma does and the cassata cakes are delish!
  • I am having Corbos Cassata cake for my June 2nd wedding.  We just called and set up an appointment at the Corbos in Little Italy.  They had a bunch of different samples but we already knew we wanted the Cassata.  They have alot of pictures and examples there... only thing is that you cannot stack a Cassata cake it has to be seperated by pillars.
  • Yum!  We are using Barona's in Maple Heights - they make AMAZING cakes!!!  the top things off my list for next year are the dress & cake - LOL

  • We had Corbos for our 2010 wedding and couldn't have been happier. Their service was great and, of course, the cake was excellent.  It was one of the things the guests were talking about all night.  You MUST pick Corbos.
