Is it appropriate to wear a veil to the wedding rehearsal?

I want to wear a birdcage veil and ivory dress to my wedding rehearsal. Is that appropriate?

Why not? I think it sounds very appropriate and classy.
In the end, you can go in flip flops or a gown, it is completely up to you.
