hi Addison brides!! I'm getting married this September at The Addison and I'm wondering what vendors you used for Makeup and Hair and Florist? Did you just stick to their preferred vendors? Thanks!

Hey there.....getting married there in two weeks!!!!!!

First off congrats, the Addison is a beautiful venue (I should know! LOL)

Second, no. I didn't use ANY of their vendors. Why? I'm my opinion, they are wayyyy overpriced. We decided to eat the outside vendor fees and I think we're still saving money.

Make-up --> Heather with Lashful

Hair --> I'm going to a salon in Boca

Florist --> Creations by Blanca

Like I said, I skipped ALL their preferred vendors. Feel free to look me up in the vendor poll to see the rest of mine...and feel free to PM me.

Hi There! The only vendor of theirs that I'm using is Boca by design for my flowers. they were the only ones that were able to work with out budget and give me everything I wanted! My hairstylist that has been cutting my hair since I was 8 years old is doing my hair and my Nars makeup consultant turned family friend is doing all of our makeup If you need any other recs let me know!

Just wanted to say that we hired MXI studios for our video yesterday. They came highly recommended and their prices are very reasonable.  =D

Is anyone getting dressed @ The addison or will you be getting dressed at the hotel?

Not sure what they do for everyone, but for me it is not possible. The only give you the room for one hour. I think most people get a room at the Boca Resort and that way you can get dressed there. That is what I'm doing. I don't want to have to rush...

Hello Girls! I am also an Addison Bride. Our wedding is March 2nd, 2013. We have the 5pm ceremony. So far I have booked our DJ, vision DJ's who is a perfered vendor and have done tons of weddings there. They are very professional! I am still looking at photographers, flowers, etc. I work with Helene at the Addison, she is wonderful!

If you want any recs I booked Kristen Wynn as a photographer http://www.kristenwynnphotography.com/ my second choice was Cassidy Thompson http://www.thompsonphotographygroup.com/ For the florist I went with the hype, everyone here rec's creations by blanca. I went to meet with her and as promised by the knotties she included SO many things for an excellent price! She too has done many weddings at the Addison If you have any questions lmk!
