First, I love the site!

Also want to say that I totally understand all the sorority talk in your profile as I too am a "sorority girl". Your explanation of a Rho Gamma was quick and too the point! I was a Rho Gamma for two years! I absolutely loved it but it was HARD to do!

P.s. I am a Phi Mu... so we have some nice history together

that is sooo cool that we have so much in common!!  crazy!!  what school did you go to??  and i love love love that we have matching wedding dates!  where are you & FI getting married??  where do you guys live?  we are in west palm, but we are getting married in lighthouse point - which i'm guessing you saw on my page?? haha   how is your planning going?  so far i just have my dress & venue and we had our engagement party! 
i absolutely loved being a rho gamma - more than even doing recruitment from the ADPi house haha it was so fun taking the new girls through and them guessing what sorority we were in.

hmm lets see... apparently we do have a lot in common!

what school did I go to?  I went to Palmetto down in South Miami (Pinecrest).

Let's say a little prayer that we end up with the same wedding date, I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to get married on 2/18/12 but nothing is set in stone yet... I thought I had my venue all figured out and was thrown a curve ball so now it's back to the drawing board. I am hoping to visit Sonesta Coconut Grove, Combers Hall, and Pierre's this weekend. We want to get married in the South Miami area (maybe even South Beach or Key Largo) since we live down here. 
I have NOTHINGGGGGGGGGG done lol... no venue, no set date, nothing but once I do, you shall be one of the first to know! haha

That was my favorite part of being a Rho Gamma also... imagine my horror when one of my rho gamma babies (as I called them) gifted me a lion on the last night of recruitment!!!! My first year was as an actual rho gamma, the second year I did Panhell VP of Recruitment which also had us disaffiliate.... that was like a full time job!!!!

i think you will be good to go on that date since it's pretty far in advance (i hope!!)  ours is set, my mom already put the deposit on the venue a couple weeks ago!  we can change it if we wanted (hence, my little crisis yesterday) but i'm thinking we are going to STICK w/ it after reading everyone's posts!  i really think it's a perfect date for us, so screw the haters lol

LOL that is too funny that one of your babies got u a lion!!! (i called them that too - my little baby PNM's - potential new members - did you guys call them PNMs??)   I went to UCF, but wellington for high school...

We were actually looking at the Key Largo Grande - they have an AWESOME reception room overlooking the water, we never went to see it in person, just decided it was too far... but check out their website.  It's a very beachy feel, which is what we are going for, not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for.  Good luck on finding a new place - that sucks your original one fell through   no bueno.
