Rehearsal dinner Miami Beach/South Beach

Hi Knotties,

Can anyone recommend a restaurant or venue for a rehearsal dinner on Miami Beach or South Beach? That's where our wedding is and we have a lot of out of towners. If we consider Brickell or elsewhere, we would have to provide a bus.

The place needs to have a large enough private area to accomodate 100+ people. 

I'm open to casual places and fancier places, to have options to choose from.

Any suggestions?

Isn't the rehearsal dinner supposed to be the bridal party and immediate family?

I guess everyone approaches it differently, but from my experience, out of town guests and close friends are invited as well, as a welcome dinner for the weekend.

We are having our reception at Texas de brazil, but it could be a great option for a rehearsal dinner as well. Ocean blvd is like 2 minutes away.

I like the privacy of a hotel meeting room. You can take your time and enjoy all the awkward toasts coming your way… lol. In Brickell, the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Brickell Downtown (http://www.hamptoninnmiamibrickell.com/) is beautiful! And because they don’t actually do weddings, it should have more dates available than a hotel that do weddings.
