Affordable Venue

Hi! My best friend is the bride and she lives in PA. She asked me to help her find a venue down here is South Fla, for around $1000. She's planning for an October (of this year) wedding for around 150 people. PLEASE help me find an affordable venue :)

    Is the $1,000 budget for the venue rental alone? Is there any type of a venue she is looking for (by the beach for example)?

    I know of one (i plan on using it myself, so these are what attracted me to it), no rental fee, food prices start at like $89 and its right on the beach. Also included is bar and cake-cutting fees. All you need is a minimum of 50 people. And obviously shes planning on having 3 times that. Venue is Deerfield Beach Resort by Wyndham.     There aren't a lot of places in South Fl for that price, unfortunately. I'm getting married at the Spanish River Library in Boca Raton, it's about $1500. Good luck!! =)
