Help me with this?

Okay, so I have a Sunday wedding (10.10.10), and rehearsal is the day before.

I have my Peruvian bridesmaids arriving Friday night at MIA, and they need to get to the Breakers. Aside from having to check if the 4 of them are arriving at the same time, and the 2 hour drive to Palm Beach ...

What would be the best way of getting them there without having to enslave a relative or friend? Are there any shuttle companies I can hire without breaking the bank?

Check with the Breakers - they may already have an airport shuttle or use one.  I'm sure they can help.  If not you might just have them all share a taxi if they get here around the same time.

I know you can get hired cars for a decent price. I would call around to them and use them against each other to get the best deal! GL

A taxicab from MIA to WPB will cost them an arm and a leg. They're arriving at MIA and need to get to WPB, it's an hour and a half drive. I'm researching companies, but I'd rather have a knottie rec on transportation cos.

Definitely look into a car service. That would be your best bet.

Why aren't they flying into PBI? Its a hop skip and a jump from the Breakers!

Jill, I know, right? But Lima - Miami is the usual route. If they flew Lima - WPB they'd pay like $200 more and end up somewhere in Texas with a 4 hour+ wait time. It's just easier for them :\

Oh ok, I see. I think your best bet is to call a car service. I have one that I always use for my boss from Palm Beach to Miami Airport. Its probably more expensive than others, but its very trustworthy.

I think a one way would be somewhere around $180. I dont know if thats a preferred customer rate, but this is who I would recommend. The company is Palm Beach Chauffeur Service 561-832-1858

    Hey Jen,

I would say an airport shuttle may be a good option as well. We used it for 4 of us and they were very reliable when we were leaving at 4 am on an international flight. Not sure about the rate though; this was four years ago and my dad paid for it.

    HTH!

I agree with pps about getting a car service. I think that will be your easiest option but not the cheapest.

The cheapest option would probably be the Tri-rail .  It's also complicated because you would have to figure out how they would get to the station if it isn't at the airport and what times it would run.

I agree with Tri-Rail you take it directly from MIA to PBI.  I don't think the cost is that expensive.  Maybe $10.

I used tri-rail when i had to get to the miami airport from palm beach. There should be shuttles from the airport that go to the tri rail station. that's probably the smartest and cheapest way to go.

good luck with this, it sounds complicated lol

lol Taylor I can picture my girls ending up in freaking Naples if they use the Tri-Rail. That'd be funny, hahaha

My hotel uses East Coast transportation. It's $120 (which includes tip) from Miami airport to us. So not sure how much more to WPB. Their number is 561-707-0464. Let Justin know I told you to call from Hampton Inn Boca. Just like Jill said, not sure if that is a special rate for us. There is also Regal Limo 561-488-8838
