Thinking about booking Vision DJs

Anyone hear anything bad about them?  Also, I want everything on their cheapest package, do I have any room for negotiation?  Or do I just ask "is this the best rate you can give me?"  I'm an awful negotiator, please help.

    yay to thinking about Vision!! They will be at my wedding in a few days!! I have yet to hear anything bad. As for negotiation....I'm terrible at that. No idea

    I booked them too for my April wedding... 

    I'm terrible at negotiating too but I get it from my customers all the time.
    Sometimes they go straight for "Is this the best you can do?"

    Other times they tell me they have a limited budget and is there any way they could cut the cost a little? And then they make whiney noises and sigh a lot.

    And then there is those that try to be conniving by sayin, well, I'm getting quotes from a couple companies and I really like you guys but your a little higher prices than some of the other quotes. Is there any way you could come down a little bit? If you could offer me $XX then I'll definitely sign now.

    Have you called them?

    I actually called just yesterday and when I spoke with the guy directly, he gave discounts on every aspect of what I wanted. Said they were having a promotion so they extended it to me since I called.

    Call and ask them for a qoute on what you are looking for and see what they come up with for you... I called and said I want 5 hours, 18 lights, and a DJ booth cover. Also maybe if you tell them "I don't want to spend more than X amount of money" they will work with your budget to give you what you want. That was my line for things I wanted to get :) and it worked!

    Most of the negative reviews are about there selling practices, not really bad dj reviews. I booked them. If they are offering specials I doubt negotiating will work but I suck at those kind of things.
