Does anyone in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area have recommendations on moderatlely priced (<3500) entertainment options for a wedding reception?

Do people prefer a live band or a dj and why?

Has anyone had experience with or can provide a recommendation about the John Bauer Group?
