The donation in memory of his mom. That is prob the most personal touch. His step mom is going to romania and getting us these custom mini flowers for our guests - it's a custom from FI's home country for our guests to wear them and I think that will be very special and symbolic.

I love the garden romantic vibe with our venue and decor and I am realllllyyyyy looking forward to the 3 piece string at the ceremony. I listen to the mp3 sample they gave us all the time. Yup, I'm a dork. haha!

I would have to say our sign in book, it will have pics from baby to our epics!! I think everyone will have a specific memory of us at each time in our lives!! I also think our table names will also be an awesome touch from us!

Gosh, it is so hard to pick.  

I am now excited about the song I will walk down the aisle to.  We are using a mantilla (prayer shawl) that has been passed around my FI's mom's friends--everyone in their group has used it so it is sentimental.

I will have a seat reserved at the ceremony for my grandmother who passed away last year.

I am excited to have an "Our Favorite Things" Bar.

Ohhh now that I think of it I DO have a neat little detail that I love. Our ceremony/cocktail hour are taking place on a terrace overlooking the beach. Part of the ocean view is obstructed by the hotel BUT I was told they can put our monogram up there on the building. I photoshopped a pic in my bio if you wanna check it out. We're definitely doing it!!!

Favorite Things Bar--

Well instead of doing a candy bar or cookie bar, I decided that we would do a "Favorite Things Bar."  It will have all of our favorite sweets and treats:

Brownie Pops, Choc. Chip Cookies, Jelly Bellys, Lemonheads, Reeses, oreos, swedish fish, pecan pie bites, twinkies, twizzlers...

Stuff like that.  It is basically a dessert bar but with a different name...lol.

We thought of putting savory items on it too...

Like mini grilled cheese bites and fried mac and cheese, but I don't think that will work out.

Tiffany - I LOVEEEE the idea of a fav things bar - so creative and a really fun personal touch.

TIFF - that's awesome! SO yummy! Damnit, our venue wouldn't allow all that...maybe just some candy but no mac and cheese, etc. Such a great idea!

Actually, yea they would allow it. I forgot. It'd cost me $300 per mac and cheese ball

all of the handmade flowers i'm making (i'm dying making them lol but they'll be awesome).

personalized jones soda bottles. i love them. i can't wait to do them for favors.

Feathers. I'm going to be putting one silver feather on each center piece in memory of my cousin who passed away. We are also going to use his chalice at the ceremony.

I'm not that far along yet that I have personal touches.  But think I want to have flip flops available at the reception since I am personally tired of achy feet at weddings after dancing so long =0)

you all have great details!  I think my favorite detail is that we'll make the floor rotate during dinner but I hope no one gets motion sick lol.  We're also doing a signature SoFlo cocktail because our open  bar is beer and wine only.

Here are mine!

Just that my dad will be there is pretty special, he had a liver transplant in 2006 and a lot of issues after the transplant, but he's looking forward to the wedding i think more than us!

The string duo at the ceremony, I think it will make it so romantic.

Our priest was Brian's religion teacher in high school and it will be his 1st wedding after being appointed a priest!!!! It will be so personal and special for all.

The lights at the Epic ballroom, stunning.
