Tuesday PM Chat

Where is everyone?

What are you doing?

What are you reading lately?

I just sent my trainer/stripper the deposit for my bachelorette party.

  • Hi!!

I am at work and I am really bored! Thankfully tomorrow I have a work lunch in the city so I am working from home in the AM and then headed to the city for a lunch :)

Currently reading 2nd book of the 50 Shades of Gray series.. I think I am on the last chapter!

Soo the person you work out with everyday will now be your stripper?? Aren'tyou embarrassed?

Awful day. Just want it to be over. FI took our 8 year old cat to the bet to be seen by the internal medicine specialist. He had an abdominal ultrasound and they suspect early Kidney Disease and a whole host of other problems. Today's visit is going to be $900.

Plus, I feel bad for FI because he is waiting in the vet's office and they just told him that it would be a longer wait because they are waiting for a urine sample.
  • I am here I am just trying to be productive today. I have only 2 full weeks of work left after this week so I am trying to get a lot of things off of my plate.

I have 75 pages left in 50 Shades Freed. I secretly never want the book to end so I am milking these last pages :)

colleen- I'm on the last 50 shades book, too! I'm having trouble getting through it, though... I'm very bored with them.

My trainer moonlights as a stripper and no, I'm not embarrassed. He doesn't get totally naked, anyway. Plus he's giving me VIP pricing!

    penny - $900?? oof :(

Yup. Hopefully our pet insurance will cover it but we have to pay it out of pocket first and we don't know how long that will take. That's the ultrasound, anesthesia, bloodwork and urinalysis.

Hopefully, they will give us some meds to keep him regular. We seem to always get the broken ones =/ I told FI that for our next pet, we should stick to fish, lol.
  • I think I would be embarrassed if I didn't know him.

I've never been to a stripper show before! He gave me the whole insider info on how he gets "ready" omg it's so gross hahaha.

Penises are kinda gross looking. Yeah, I said it.

We tried to enroll him with VPI because everyone has said such great things but they wouldn't write him because he had some other medical problems so we got Trupanion. They cover 90 of costs so we hope it will work out.

As far as penises, I hope to never encounter a choade!
  • At least you know your trainer will have an awsome body when he takes his shirt off and not some guy that shows up with a "kegger" (a belly, thats what we call it here) lol.

Are all three of the 50 shades of grey books good? I was thinking of buying them to read on the plane for my honeymoon. But will I be bored? I heard they are entertaining but the writing is pretty horrible.

They're pretty entertaining, but the writing itself is definitely horrible. They'd probably be good for a honeymoon read, though, as they're VERY sexual... wink wink.

  • Where is everyone? At work

What are you doing? ...totally slacking off.

What are you reading lately? The first Fifty Shades book...I am about 75% of the way through and I am not sure I am going to read the rest of the series. I am pretty bored with the dialouge. If he says, "Anastasia, you're biting your lip. You know what that does to me" one more time...

Totally agree.. I find it very annoying. But the actual story about Gray and his childhood I thnk is rather interesting that is the only reason I continued to read.

For the most part I loved them all almost done with the last one. Sometimes I was like come on I want this part to be over already and then something really good would happen. So I would say yes it's a great honeymoon read :)

    Hahaha!!

I was beginning to think that I was the only one who knew that term, lol.
  • I actually have no desire to read the Fifty Shades series. It sounds too pornographic and the horrible writing would bother me on so many levels.
    Cate Daisypath Anniversary tickers
  • At home enjoying a quiet house --avoiding correcting the end of term papers (8 days of school left!). Teenagers are asleep and FI is snoring on the couch.

Watching the latest Bridezillas on Netflix and honestly wonder why some of them bother going through with the ceremony.

I was swayed by the 50 Shades popularity but am only 43% through on my e-reader and have been reading #1 for three weeks now. Before this book I read A Captain's Duty about the Vermont captain who was captured by Somali pirates a few years ago. I work with his sister and she told me about it. It is an easy read and went quickly.
  • I know I'm late, but I cannot ignore a poll. Thank you very much.

Where is everyone? Sitting on our dining table, just finished a bowl of cereal, and it's Wednesdsay morning.

What are you doing? Typing this out. Going to drive to town soon to do some errands and deposit a check that we got as a wedding gift. We got it a couple of weeks ago and the person wants us to deposit it right away since they're closing their accounts due to a divorce. I feel bad :(

What are you reading lately? *hangs head in shame* just finished 50 shades of grey and just starting the 2nd book. I don't think I like them at all though. Haha

Oh god ... that's a lot of $$! I had pet insurance too, but they didn't cover my dog's hip dysplasia ... just make sure they don't try to write this off as a preexisting condition; they'kk do that sometimes. Btw I don't have insurance anymore but I do have a membership with a vet discount program called "Pet Assure", it's more worth it for me that pet insurance, because they pay for anything hip dysplasia-related as well, even though it's only 25% of the bill.
