I feel like this article was written about me!  Does anyone else have a mother that doesn't approve of FI?

    I pretty sure that article was written about me too...

    My parents aren't crazy about FI. But then again, I don't think my parents would be happy with any guy I wanted to marry unless he was Tim Tebow. My parents like FI well enough but certainly don't always have nice things to say. 

    It's sad some moms/parents are so disapproving. It definitely hurts. At least we can comiserate together!

    My parents also have been disapproving of FH until just this weekend!  We had a family emergency that involved an emergency hip replacement for my father on the otherside of the state.  To make a long story short, when my FH came to get me, my parents were actually pleasant!  My Mom hugged FH & Dad shook his hand!  It was crazy & now I have hope that eventually (hopefully before the wedding in March), they will come around!

    Hang in there Ladies!  We must never lose hope!!
