Well This sucks....

After searching and searching, I had finally found a great photographer that was reasonable and willing to work with us on price. I sent him an email last week to set up a day to make a deposit with no reply. Spoke with him today and much to my dismay, he booked another wedding :(. I am so disappointed especially after he told me that this other couple doesn't even have a venue yet. Who does that?? Am I wrong for hoping she has to change her date???

    That's pretty messed up especially since you had already talked to him and expressed your interest in having him as your photographer. I wonder if had already spoken to the other couple who had booked before you but even so, he should have at least told you about it. If you don't mind me asking, who's the photographer? Also, what's your budget for photography? I can send you the list I shared with girls on here on affordable photographers. Maybe one of them may be best for what you need.

    His name is Cendino Teme. His work is absolutely beautiful and I was really happy that he would be taking our pictures. We set the budget for $2,100 to be our very top. PLEASE forward me the list. I've been emailing like a madwoman since last night and I have this fear that the good photographers will already be booked.

    That sucks.  I would let him know that you are still interested if the other couple cancels.  TBH, I booked our photog without a venue.  I don't really think its that out of the ordinary.

    Here is the list I shared as a post a few weeks ago with the girls. You will find photographers below your budget and within. Also, in addition to the photographers I list, the girls also added any their photographers as well :)

    You ladies should add Ricky Stern (http://miamiphotographer.net) to that list. His prices are very reasonable, and his pictures are great! Most important, he's super easy to get along with and he'll take tons of pics without you even noticing he's in the room   :)
