Polaroid question

hey ladies! long time not chatting, i have been crazy busy and traveling and missed you guys! hope the g2g was fun, sorry i missed it :(
I have a question, so I did have a groupon for a photobooth that fell through and now we don't have one. we can't really afford to rent a full priced one so i was going to skip it. i had this thought though, a friend of mine has a polaroid, one of the new ones, and it takes these small but awesome pics you get instantly so i was thinking about buying one (about 60$) and taking pics of guests as they write in the book and doing  "ghetto" photo booth. i know i could find someone to keep an eye on it and it wouldn't be going the whole reception just maybe during the cocktail/mingle hour...thoughts? or is that super ghetto?? even with the film it's wayyy cheaper then the photobooth. plus if i ask someone to be the pic taker they can take them anywhere in the venue...?

Re: Polaroid question

  • its a good idea, but how much is the film? Polaroid film packs have always been notoriously expensiive - it might cost you a few hundred bucks for the self developing film packs. Remember - uts not a digital camera!
