NWR: Do you or FI have baby fever? Plan on having kids???

In the time span FI and I were getting to know one another before we were officially in a relationship, he was not interested in having children whatsoever. FI has had a change of heart and wants kids. His change change of heart is great for me because I have always wanted kids. However, FI has been experiencing a bit of case of baby fever. That isn't too good for me because I would like to wait at least 5 years before we really start trying to get pregnant.

Does anyone have a case of baby fever? When do you plan on having kids or have agreed to have none at all?

    Everyone around me seems to want me to have baby fever, several ladies I work with at both my jobs are pregnant or recently had a baby, and a couple girls keep asking when it's my turn.
    FI and I both want kids- although we disagree on the number to have- but we know we definitely want to plan to wait until we've been married at least a year or two, so we can get on feet and be financially stable before starting our family.

    I wouldn't call it baby fever, I am definitely starting to swoon over babies a bit more than I have in the past, but FI and I are both in agreement that we would like to wait at least a year before having a baby. We want time to enjoy being married before we start with the babies.

    We have agreed on having 2 and only those, lol. FI hated growing up as an only child and wouldn't want our future children to go thru that. Also, FI has always jokingly stated that if our first child ws a girl then we adopt our second child so he can make sure he won't be the odd man out in a house full of girls, lol. He has secretly confessed to me that he has no problem coming home to his wife and "girls" :)

    Waiting!!! Looking forward to our time as a married couple and traveling and just worrying about us for awhile.  We have a Chocolate Lab and she is our whole world right now so we are filled in the "child" department.  I recently even got back on birth control because it was much too stressful planning a wedding for November and then worrying each month if we would have to cancel or put our Big Day on hold! LOL! Anybody else going through that or have that scare?

    Well our Moms definitely have baby fever. FI and I agreed we both want to wait at least 3 years to start trying. He'll be 27 in November so that'll give him til 30 lol. But we aren't living together before marriage, so we want to enjoy married life and there's alot of traveling we want to get done the two of us before our funds start getting funneled into the baby industry lol. He doesn't even want to consider a pet because of our travel plans lol. And we're not completely sure how many we'll have yet. He'd like 2, but I don't know if I can survive in a home of only men so we agreed if we have 2 boys, we'll adopt a girl lol.

    No baby fever for us. At all. 

    Heck, we don't even know if we want kids at this point!!

    I have it and FI is starting to as well. There are 3 women preggos in our synagogue right now all due in the summer so I know that will just fuel the fire. We want to wait probably about 6 months before stopping to prevent it and see what happens. Although we disagree slightly on that, he wants to wait a year. We want 4 kids and I don't want to be giving birth to them all in my 30's so I want to get started soon, I'm 27!

    My FI and I are WAY past baby fever!!! We already have 2 girls (17 months & 1 month) and on top of that, my FI also has 2 other kids with another woman (6 years & 4 years) ... No more babies for us!!! Now it is time to start planning that wedding we put on hold because of the babies! lol
