Hi all.

I'm just starting my wedding planning. We're thinking of using a wedding planner since we both live and work in New York, but will be marrying in Cleveland (probably Garfield Heights area).

Recommendations for awesome planners and/or stories of brides who successfully planned weddings from 9 hours away encouraged.

Hi!

I am going to use Heidzillas.  Her name is Heidi and her website is heidzillas.com.  I just booked her last week, but I already love her!! There is so much stuff she can help you with and can get you really good discounts on vendors.  She talks to you and then decides what vendors will fit your style.  I think she is DEFINITELY worth the money!!!  Hope everything works out for you!!

That's great to hear nikki2114 because I've been thinking of hiring a planner. What kind of discounts can you get? We still need to hire a few vendors.

I am using Rachel Visha. She is AWESOME!! She is VERY reasonable in price if you are trying to work in a tight bugdet (which we are). When I first started planning I thought we would never be able to afford a wedding planner. Rachel will work with you on her prices and she is great helping you get negoations on vendors. I used All Events Planned, she was great for the Day of, but I did not receive any discounts from vendors. Even though she said I would.
